Eastpak iPad Sleeve

Yesterday, we went to Abu Dhabi Mall to catch some good deals. You know… we are going on vacation to Philippines on March. To buy Smart Cover at Virgin Megastore for my iPad2 is one of the targets. But then again, i end up buying another accessory for her.  It’s my 3rd accessory for iChic = iPad2. It doesn’t mean I don’t like the 2 protection covers, I just can’t have enough for my iPad. Ladies, you know!

1st accessory – a red Capdase

I like the color, iPad’s well protected however it’s adding unwieldy weight. Useful when I lounge around on bed, it has 3 angles of stand position offering flexibility and comfortable vision. It has access to all the buttons and ports. (170 AED at Virgin Megastore)

 2nd accessory – Berskha

Please check my Blog

(79 AED at Bershka – Mirdif Mall, Dubai)

The most recent but definitely not the last accessory for iChic – EASTPAK IPAD SLEEVE. Yes, I am very sure it’s not the last because I’m hopeful to get Gelaskins and a Smart Cover for her, in time!

Height: 8.7 in Width: 10.4 in Material: Polyamide

It has a special pull-out system.

EASTPAK iPad sleeve reminds me how slim iPad2 is. I have to pull her out to use! The downside of this case; iPad’s stripped when pulled out, unprotected! Needs extra care.

It was actually my hubby’s choice, but i do like it too.  I never buy stuff I don’t like (wrote this several times in my blog 😀 ).  Got it at the newly opened VANS (Off the Wall) shop in Abu Dhabi Mall for only 60 AED. Affordable, right?

Which one do you like best? Share your thoughts.

Leather goes green

Who doesn’t love SALE?

Home Centre  which offers affordable fine furniture & furnishings, home accessories, kitchenware, outdoor furniture & gift ideas for all the family is on SALE now, from 25% to 70% OFF. Yes, you read it right! BIG SALE… A sale you SO DON’T want to miss.

Here’s what i bought from Home Centre, Liwa Street – Abu Dhabi

Forest Mini Trunkperfect for accessories, etc! (33.90% off)

Forest Leather Tissue Box (25% off)

Forest Jewelry Box (27% off)

Let’s go Green. Y not?  Green is common in nature. And according to Wikipedia, Nature, in the broadest sense, is equivalent to the natural world, physical world, or material world.  It refers to the phenomena of the physical world, and also to LIFE in general.

Green is the least of my favorite, but the Forest Leather items above fascinate me on a distinctive level. I do like them.  I don’t buy things I DON’T LIKE.

Bershka Tablet Case

3 days of holidays mean Dubai days. I do love Abu Dhabi however when it comes to shopping and leisure, Dubai is the best place to be.

The newest shopping destination I came across is the Mirdif City Centre. Not a new shopping hub but it’s my first time. Another wonderful place to fulfill just about everything on everyone’s shopping wish-list.

We did not have sufficient time inside, it was a quick mosey. While wandering, i came across Bershka,  somewhat so inviting so I checked. Abu Dhabi Mall has Berskha, but there’s an unusual hunch when i passed MCC’s Bershka. There’s more other than Berskha  which are so tempting, but this blog is about a Bershka accessory. YES! Apart from a wide range of clothing, B has also a wide selection of accessories.

See what I got from Bershka…

animalistic iPad case

it’s not on my Christmas wish-list but i do like it. i like it and i like it 😀

It costs only 79 AED = 21 $ , 50% cheaper than that of Virgin’s which i like too.

Certainly, I will visit again Mirdif.

Do you like the case? Share your thoughts..!

Much love…. xoxo

What’s in my bag?

I’ve seen post like this on different blog sites and have been enthused to do the same. I am a sucker for bags. I get excited every time I see beautiful bags.

It’s fascinating to know what’s inside a bag, nobody carries an empty bag, it’s where we load our essentials.   Most of my office mates wonder what’s inside my bag.  I carry a big bag everyday to the office, full of my essentials. I switch bag depending on my mood and what i wear. Yet not everyday! As a lady blogger, I don’t want to let pass the trendy “what’s in my bag” post.

I changed bag yesterday and it’s an ALDO Huge Sling Bag, black.

This is what you see if i open my bag…

Take a peek on what’s inside my bag.

The 2 black & 1 red Ramsta purses are from IKEA for only 4.75 AED each, and a Coach (replica) from a shop (i forgot the name) in CDO, Philippines.

Taking out what’s inside the purses, here’s what you see

  • my Blackberry w/ red capdase case
  • NineWest black wallet (National ID, Labour Card, Debit & Credit Cs, Driving License, Insurance Card and other plastic inside) 🙂
  • Ray-Ban Eyeglasses
  • Brand-less Sunnies
  • Orange Springmaid comb (from Philippines)
  • Receipts, warranty card and bank withdrawal slip
  • Missha oven pop blusher and a brush
  • Covergirl rum raisin lipstick
  • Labello lip gloss
  • Hawaiian Tropic Sunblock lip balm
  • Block & White Face Powder (natural)
  • small purse for my keys
  • my 3-month old iPad2 a.k.a iCandid (white) with red Capdase case
  • my 4-year old iPod Touch, i seldom use this but i carry it everyday
  • X-mini Capsule Speaker (red) and its USB cord
  • USB cords for my blackberry, iPod Touch and iPad
  • Sennheiser headset pouch (it belongs to my hubby, i dunno why it’s inside my bag)
  • External hard disk (verbatim, 320GB)
  • Pocket Prayer Book
  • Philips Headset
  • Blackberry Headset
  • 2 Sandisk USB Flash memory (2GB + 2GB)
  • Al Shaya Card (i have no idea what is that) – ignore this one

All these things except for the iPad, i bring to the office everyday. I do switch sunglasses too. Depends!

Do you doubt if they actually fit in the bag?

Some things missing? no perfumes, no cologne, no body spray, no eye-shadow, no eye-liner, no hand sanitizer, no mascara and no anything that you expect for a lady to have in her bag.

I am not really a ‘girly girly’ lady (grin). I don’t wear too much make-up. I am just a simple lady who carries a lot of essential stuff, yes…. a lot! even without all the girly stuff. But ohhhh.. i put some fragrance before going to the office and I’m keeping an alcohol and a cologne in the office. They have a huge space on my desk, obviously no space in my bag… (laughs)

Do you carry as much stuff as I do?

I’d love to see what you carry in your bags, please do share!

xoxo, Leene

iLove Ray-Ban, Never Hide!

For me, the world leader in designer eyewear is Ray-Ban. It’s the brand which produces the coolest shade in the world….  my opinion!

Rayban designs are timeless, it never goes out of style. It’s not cheap but it’s not so expensive too like other designer eyewears.

My first Ray-Ban is an Aviator Arista RB3211 001/73. Frame color is gold, lens color is brown. Impact and scratch resistant lenses with 100% UV protection. Bought it year 2006, the color hasn’t change til now, of course… it’s authentic! It’s so light and comfortable, fits perfectly on my face.

Year 2008, i bought the original Ray-Ban Wayfarer RB 2140 902 at Sunglass Hut – Al Wahda Mall! I so love the Wayfarer, i don’t know if it looks good on me, but i love it!  who cares? i don’t wear anything just to impress. What i love, i buy!

My third RB sunglasses (i hope it’s not the last) is the RB 3026 Aviator Large Metal II, Gold frame, brown lens. Sometimes i feel uncomfy wearing this one due to it’s large size, but it’s not giving me headache. I love. Its lens technology provides the maximum protection against harmful UV ultra-violet rays.

These Ray Ban sunglasses are durable and offer great eye protection with comfort. Quality manufacturing that will deliver many years of use.

***********

I have difficulty reading road signs when driving.  I thought I can still clearly read and what i’m experiencing is just normal..  in denial, it seems! Honestly, i hate wearing specs! But for the safety in driving, i decided to have my eyes checked and found out i have astigmatism. What is that? didn’t really know until i Google.

Oh well, I ended with a Ray-Ban eyeglasses!  Yes, what else?

It’s an RB 6199E 2531,  very light and comfortable!

I face the computer everyday (even day-off), but i don’t use the specs daily. (shhhhhh) Uncomfy and it makes me older! 😛 Its sole purpose is for driving! It’s necessary! I tried it last Friday, I can clearly read the road signs. Yey!

My eyes trust only Ray-Ban!…. Hehehe, just joking! I have cheap sunnies too! As i said, I buy what i love w/ restrictions, of course!

Invest in a pair of good-quality sunglasses. Our eyes are worth it! But remember, designer sunglasses aren’t always high quality protection eye wear.
